Services
WA Profiling has undertaken work all over Western Australia, in both metropolitan and remote areas. Our machines have harvested salt for Shark Bay Salt, conducted road works from Broome to Albany, and provided services to various asphalt companies and local shires throughout the state.
Did You Know:
- WA Profiling has the capability to remove any material to a depth of 285mm at a width of 2m in one pass.
- The material removed becomes a recyclable product.
- We have six different sizes of profilers to ensure the most appropriate machine is used for each specific job.
- Asphalt and base course materials can be removed in one pass at a rate of up to 600 tonnes per hour.
WA Profiling made a significant contribution to the development of Perth’s new MetroRail City project and the Mount Henry Bridge duplication project. Large areas of carriageway were removed altogether, sometimes over 300mm in depth. In other areas only the wearing course was removed prior to resurfacing. Using a Polyplaner (the only one of its type in WA), WA Profiling also removed the existing road markings so that road re-alignments and new lanes could be demarcated immediately.
These jobs demanded the company work on and off as and when required, sometimes providing services in the middle of the night. All the work undertaken during these projects was time critical as the reintroduction of traffic to work areas was all important in the busy sections of the Perth CBD and Kwinana Freeway network.
