WA Profiling was started in September 2004 by Peter Blackburn. Initial operations worked out of a sea container with one small milling machine. The company experienced exceptional growth in its first few years due mainly to the commitment and quality of the WA Profiling team.
The company's expansive premises in Welshpool, Western Australia, now includes offices, a workshop, a sealed yard and a fleet of road milling machines to suit every project.
Quality and safety are paramount at WA Profiling. WA Profiling is quality assured with BVQI to standard AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 and has heavy vehicle accreditation with Main Roads WA.
Remote cameras are fitted to the blind spots of the large W2000 milling machines to provide absolute safety on the job. Extensive safety systems are in place to ensure all our operations are safe—this is our priority.
The attitude displayed by the WA Profiling team has resulted in exceptional service for the company's customers and is the underlying reason for the company’s success.
The success of WA Profiling, and the realisation that the company's machines had a much wider application than previously imagined, soon led the company's founder, Peter Blackburn, to create a new company, WA Surface Mining (www.wasurfacemining.com.au), in the mining sector. WASM offers surface mining in iron ore, uranium, haul road upgrades, limestone and salt.
